Hours: Friday - Sunday weekly

The Silly Goose gets flocked to by thousands of silly geese in the fall, and we're looking for someone who can help make every customer leave with a smile (and probably a few things they didn't plan on buying).

This isn't your typical retail job. We're looking for someone who's energetic, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys talking to people. You'll help create an unforgettable shopping experience by making customers laugh, keeping the shop looking amazing, and helping them discover the perfect gift.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every customer with a warm smile and a fun, upbeat attitude.
  
• Operate our point-of-sale system and assist customers with purchases.
  
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  
• Create eye-catching product displays and help merchandise the store.
  
• Help customers find gifts they'll be excited to give.
  
• Jump in wherever needed and take initiative throughout your shift.
  
• Work as part of a team to create a welcoming, memorable experience for every guest.

We're Looking For Someone Who...

• Has previous retail or customer service experience (preferred).
  
• Loves talking to people and making them laugh.
  
• Has a positive, energetic personality.
  
• Is creative and enjoys organizing and merchandising products.
  
• Is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work.
  
• Is comfortable working in a store filled with humorous (and sometimes slightly inappropriate) products.
  
• Can reliably commute to Jim Thorpe during Fall Foliage festival traffic.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do. If you notice an empty display, straighten it. If a customer looks lost, help them. If there's downtime, find ways to improve the store. We love team members who treat The Silly Goose like it's their own little shop.

The owners won't always be on-site, so being able to work independently, make good decisions, and take ownership of your responsibilities is incredibly important.
