I Got a Custom Sign Made and Rewarded Myself With a Donut

TL;DR:

  • Nate got a custom storefront sign made by Bruno Supply Co. in New Jersey
  • It looks amazing and makes the shop look like a real business (finally)
  • Obviously celebrated by getting a donut at Donerds
  • Would recommend both experiences

Let’s Talk About the Sign

This isn’t a sponsored post. I just like when things turn out nice.
The team at Bruno Supply Company made a custom wooden sign with hand-painted lettering, and it came out exactly how I pictured it — maybe even better.
Clean design. Bright colors. Professional with just enough weird.

He came all the way to Jim Thorpe to drop it off. They handed it over like it was a newborn baby. I said thank you like six times. Then I went straight back to The Silly Goose and got it installed.

Hanging a real sign outside makes it feel like you’ve unlocked a new level in shop ownership. Less “awkward hobby” and more “functional human who has a store.”

Then: Donut Time

Stopped by Donerds again, obviously.
Got a donut. No surprises here.
It was good. Again.
If you’re keeping track, I’ve basically turned donut runs into a reward system for basic achievements. Highly effective.

Where to Find the Sign (and the Donuts)

Bruno Supply Co. – Custom signs made in NJ (they’re good people)
Donerds Donuts – You already know. Jim Thorpe, downtown. Usually a line. Worth it.
